The 7th Americas Regional Conference of the ISTVS will be held jointly with the 105th Annual Meeting of the American Society of Agronomy in Tampa, Florida, November 4-7, 2013.

This will be the second joint meeting with ASA. The 2004 ISTVS-ASA joint meeting resulted in the 2005 Special Issue of our Journal of Terramechanics. Similarly, this 2013 Joint Meeting will produce a Special Issue of the JOT.

The full ASA 2013 meeting will host over 4,000 scientists, professionals, educators, and students. Also participating are the Crop Science Society of America and the Soil Science Society of America.

The conference will provide you a place where you can exchange ideas and information on the current research and technology developments in the field of terrain-machine systems.

The International Society for Terrain-Vehicle Systems is an educational, non-profit, non-political organization with the mission to advance the knowledge in terrain-vehicle (machine) systems for improvements in engineering practice and for innovation, and to promote the transfer of knowledge to the user for the benefit of society at large in environmental protection, energy conservation, and sustainable development. International conferences of ISTVS are organized every three years, with regional conferences in Asia-Pacific, Europe, and North America in between.

It is a real pleasure to extend to all ISTVS members, students, and nonmember professionals a cordial invitation to visit Tampa, Florida, for the 7th International Conference in 2013.
